The Ultherapy Procedure
Your Ultherapy treatment can be performed right here in our office. The length of your treatment will depend on the area you’re treating and what your individual treatment plan is. Typically, our face and neck procedures take 60-90 minutes to perform, while our chest treatments take around 45 minutes for complete.
The Recovery from Ultherapy
Immediately after their Ultherapy treatment, patients can return to their daily activities or work since there’s no significant downtime or recovery required. Some patients experience some redness or more commonly soreness in the treated areas, but these effects gradually disappear. Bruising in the treatment area can occur, which should be a consideration when planning your treatment schedule.

How Does Ultherapy Work?
Using ultrasound imaging, Ultherapy delivers ultrasound energy deep underneath the skin—all the way to the layer of connective tissue under the skin called the SMAS. That heat energy then triggers the body’s healing response, resulting in the increased production of collagen—a natural process called neocollagenesis.
